How to create an Avatar (your profile picture):
- Login to UFTP.
- You should see a link named “Manage your Photo Gallery”. Click that link.
- You should now be able to upload a picture.
- Once uploaded, you will have the option to select your Avatar and Main Picture.
If you choose to use a picture of yourself as your Avatar, it is best to choose a tightly cropped head shot as the Avatars are displayed in a very small format and may be difficult to make out if cropped too large.
How to create your Bio:
- Login to UFTP.
- Scroll near the bottom of your edit profile page to the “About Yourself” area.
- Now you should see a text box labeled “
- Enter your bio information here.
- You can add html code here to design your layout and to add pictures and youube.com videos etc.
- Malicious html codes or scripts of any kind placed on your profile page will IMMEDIATELY result in your account being permanentely terminated. So, be nice!
How to post Youtube.com videos:
Youtube.com videos can be posting by placing the URL of the video with a “v” right after the “http”.
Example: httpv://….
Videos can be posted in your profile (About Me) area as well.
Make sure to select the VIDEO category in order for people to easily find your poted video!
How to link to UFTP:
Place the following html code into your page’s code:
